Busy Beaver will open its doors in June
CALCUTTA — Pittsburgh-based Busy Beaver home improvement retailer will hold a grand opening at 9 a.m. Saturday, June 1, at 15891 state Route 170, East Liverpool. The event will feature giveaways, prizes and children’s activities.
The 60,000-square-foot location will be a full-line home improvement center that will feature an expanded seasonal department, an indoor lumber yard, a farm and ranch department, and a designated contractor service center.
Twenty full-time and 15 to 20 part-time employees will be hired for the store, which will include seasonal items like flowers, mulch, stone, wicker furniture, and grills, to competitively priced lumber and hardware goods. The new store will also carry Glidden Paints, a brand of PPG, the leading global paint and coatings company.

Busy Beaver has four locations in Ohio, including Ashtabula, Canton and Salem. The hardware retailer also operates four stores in West Virginia and 15 stores across Western Pennsylvania, totaling 23 stores across the Tri-State area.
