Trustees pass resolution
LaCROFT — Liverpool Township trustees added their names Monday night to the list of entities that passed a resolution, shutting out the city of Salem from decision making regarding this year’s Local Government Fund allocation.
Trustees also paid $101,638.88 worth of bills and announced they received confirmation from county Engineer Bert Dawson that their chip-and-seal would be done on township roads June 26 through 28.
In other action, board members learned that 601 Densmore was probably going to be a rehabilitation project rather than a demolition, and the township’s cleanup with St. Clair will be held from 8 a.m. – noon Saturday, May 18 at the new police station, 2485 Boring Lane. No hazardous materials, electronics or tires will be accepted.
The next township meeting will be held at 6:30 p.m. Monday, May 6 at the township building on Ada Street.
