Salineville Police Reports

Police were flagged down on Sunday by an East Main Street man who reported his wife had fallen and needed assistance. The Salineville First Responders and Fire Department arrived and assisted the woman using a special chair to get her mobile again.

An injured deer by the side of the road was reported at 5 p.m., Friday in the area of state Route 164 past the village limits. Police fired one round into the suffering animal and gave the person, who had notified police, a deer carcass receipt.

Someone reported noise coming from a Mill Street residence at 11:40 p.m. Thursday. The resident agreed to turn down his stereo volume.

Police were asked to check on an elderly woman living on North Street at 6:28 p.m. Friday. She was found to be fine and notified to contact her family member, who was concerned about her.
