A driver escaped injury after her car caught fire while she was driving north on state Route 11 in St. Clair Township at noon Friday. Tina Paquette was about halfway between the Calcutta and Rogers exits when her 2002 Sunfire caught fire. She managed to pull over and get out before the car became fully engulfed in flames. The Glenmoor Fire Department responded, along with township police and the Ohio Highway Patrol. The car was a total loss. Fire Chief Bill Bennett said the fire started in the dashboard but the the cause is not known at this time. (Submitted photo)
