CCRTA meeting

LISBON – The Columbiana County Retired Teachers Association recently met at the Lisbon United Methodist Church. The luncheon was served by the Women of Faith of the church.

Nancy Dicken offered the welcome, pledge and invocation. The minutes and treasurer’s report were accepted as presented.

The program was presented by Bea Laner, Past President of the Ohio Retired Teachers Association. Laner, along with Brenda Davis of ORTA, traveled from Coshocton, Ohio, to give a legislative update.

Denise Marcelt won the 50/50 and Sue Kornbau’s name was drawn for the free lunch at the next meeting.

CCRTA members are reminded to tally their volunteer hours from January to November 2025 by listing the individual location(s) and total hours for each site. These are to be brought to the November meeting.

The Lisbon High School Show Choir will perform at the Nov. 20 meeting. Call Rosemary Bruehler by Nov. 16 with reservation.
