Store House Food Pantry & Kitchen

Yeshua Assembly of God, 49345 Calcutta Smith Ferry Road, East Liverpool, will host its Store House Food Pantry & Kitchen from 2:30 to 5:30 p.m. Wednesday; no ID or income requirement. The Yeshua Drive Thru Outreach is canceled for July and will resume Aug. 16 from 10 a.m. to noon.

Summer Student Send-Off Picnic

The Ohio State University Alumni Club of Columbiana County will hold its annual Summer Student Send-Off Picnic on Thursday Aug. 7 at Pavilion 4, Firestone Park, Columbiana. Meet and greet is at 5:30 p.m. with a catered meal at 6 p.m. All alumni and their families, incoming freshman and current OSU students and their families as well as friends of OSU are invited. All OSU students in attendance will be entered in a drawing for two $250 door prizes. Non-student adults are asked for a donation to offset event costs. SL school board meeting

The Southern Local school board will have a public meeting at 5 p.m. Thursday in the high school media center. Members of the public are invited to provide input to the board on the issue of re-employing Tom Cunningham during his service retirement.
