Strengthening Families workshop
The Strengthening Families workshop is scheduled for 11 a.m. to 1 p.m. June 16 at the Brooke Hancock FRN, 1300 Potomac Ave., Suite C, Weirton. Lunch will be provided. The free workshop’s approach and protective factors frameworks is a research-informed, strengths-based approach that prevents child abuse and neglect by focusing on the well being of all families and helping families identify and build their own protective factors.
