Guest speaker at East Liverpool First Church of the Nazarene
EAST LIVERPOOL — East Liverpool First Church of the Nazarene will host a guest speaker Sunday.
Rev. Ayman Kafrouny is originally from Lebanon, where he rose to fame as a secular singer before coming to Christ in 1999. He left his entertainment career in 2000 and was discipled at the Church of the Nazarene in Beirut.
Ayman will be speaking to the combined teen and adult Sunday school classes at 9:30 a.m. He will also speak during the 10:45 a.m. worship service. Following the service there will be a covered-dish dinner after which Ayman will speak and host a Q & A session. All are invited and welcome to attend.
Ayman served as Director of the Nazarene Broadcasting and Communications Ministry (NBCM) in the Middle East and continues to volunteer in that role today. He completed a diploma in Pastoral Ministry with Nazarene Bible College and was ordained as an elder in the Church of the Nazarene in 2007.
He planted and pastored a Nazarene church in Beirut until 2019. In 2020, he moved to the United States to plant an Arabic-speaking church in Cleveland, Ohio, under the Christian & Missionary Alliance (C&MA).
Over 25 years of ministry, Ayman has produced around 15 different TV programs — five of which aired on MTV Lebanon. He is also a songwriter and composer with nearly 100 worship songs, and he regularly leads worship at conferences, concerts, and revival events worldwide.
Ayman is married to Grace. They have two children — Priscilla (23), who is married and has a son named Maverick, and James (15).
