The Hannah E. Mullins School of Practical Nursing of Salem held its 127th Commencement and Pinning Ceremony Feb. 20. The school offers a full-time and part-time option and is currently enrolling for its fall classes. Several scholarships and awards were presented to the following senior students: Perfect Attendance 1st half – Tierra Smith and Ashley McBride. Salem Community Foundations Gladys Thomas Nursing – Shelby Grimm and Amanda Douglas. 40/8 – Tierra Smith. Be the Difference Ann Datillio Memorial – Shelby Grimm. The graduate awards for Highest Scholastic Achievement went to Taylor Kelly and Best All Around Nurse to Nadiyah Bernard.
