NOAS foster care registration

NOAS invites Ohio couples and singles to register for its free Foster Care & Foster-to-Adopt Pre-Placement In-Person Training Blitz this February. This immersive weekend training event allows participants to complete all required training hours in just three days–an accelerated alternative to NOAS’ standard six-week course series. BL kindergarten registration

Beaver Local kindergarten registration will open March 10. Students must be 5 years old on or before Aug. 1, 2025.

Community Baby Shower

Hancock County Partners in Prevention will host a Community Baby Shower from noon to 2 p.m. March 20 in the municipal building gym, 600 Indiana Ave., Chester. The event is for all guardians of children prenatal to 2 years of age. All safe, loving grown-ups are welcome to join in celebrating the new baby. The event will featured a catered lunch, health and community information, free baby items for all, door and vendor prizes and games for moms, dads and kids. Childcare provided and optional. In the event of bad weather, the event will be held March 27 at noon. Registration for vendors and RSVPs for guardians is required at 304-748-7850.
