Dawson Funeral Home to host its annual Tree of Remembrance Service
EAST LIVERPOOL — The Dawson Funeral Home will host its annual Tree of Remembrance Service on Sunday, Dec. 8, at 2 p.m. in the funeral home’s chapel. This cherished tradition, now in its 30th year, is open to the public and offers a heartfelt opportunity to honor and remember loved ones who have passed away.
The names of loved ones submitted online by families will be read during the service, making the occasion deeply personal and meaningful. Attendees will also receive a remembrance keepsake following the ceremony.
“We are honored to continue this meaningful tradition for our community,” said Funeral Director Dike Dawson. “The Tree of Remembrance Service provides comfort and connection during a time of year that can be particularly challenging for those who have experienced loss.”
The event will feature a message of hope and encouragement delivered by Pastor Larry Rose of Northside Community Church in East Liverpool. Special holiday music will be provided by Ron Bryer, adding a serene and reflective atmosphere to the occasion.
“We’re excited to have Pastor Rose sharing his inspiring words and to welcome Ron, whose music will help make the event even more special,” Dawson added.
The holiday season can evoke bittersweet memories for those grieving the loss of a loved one. The Dawson Funeral Home recognizes the unique challenges this time of year brings and invites the community to come together for this moving tribute.
