Christmas tree disposal

EAST LIVERPOOL — City residents can contact the Safety Service Office at (330) 386-6584 to schedule a date to dispose of their Christmas tree. Trees will be picked up on Tuesdays during the month of January 2021 only. The dates designated for Christmas tree disposal are January 12, 2021, January 19, 2021 and January 26, 2021.

Council member sought

The village of Summitville has an opening for a council member effective Jan. 1. Interested village residents should send a letter of interest by Jan. 19 to Summitville Village, P.O. Box 56, Summitville, Ohio 43962. The next council meeting is 6 p.m. Jan. 26 at the fire station

Church offers rigatoni dinner

The New Lisbon Presbyterian Church will hold a drive-thru rigatoni dinner on Wednesday, Jan. 20. The meal also includes salad and cake for $8. Pickup times are 4-5 p.m. Orders must be made by noon on Jan. 15; call the church office at 424-5107.
