Salineville council meets today

Salineville village council has planned a special meeting at 10 a.m. today in village hall. The purpose of the meeting is to consider a CARES Act subgrant agreement and any other outstanding fiscal matters. Anyone interested in observing the meeting may do so via Facebook Live. No public attendance will be permitted due to COVID-19. Council canceled Monday’s regularly schedule meeting after not having enough council members able to attend.

Free community dinner

Trinity Parish Presbyterian Church will host the Free Community Dinner Nov. 21, 3-5 p.m. Please note that we are returning to the Newell VFD social hall, Newell WV. Due to social distancing, this meal is take out only and no entry to the hall before 3 p.m. This month’s dinner is Roasted Turkey, Mashed Potatoes, Stuffing, Green Beans, Roll, and Dessert. The Free Community Dinner is a mission of Trinity Parish Presbyterian Church and is free and open to all. Frank Lewis is Pastor.

Wellsville pantry open Friday

The Wellsville First Baptist Church, 1401 Center St., will hold its regular drive-thru food pantry from 3-5 p.m. Friday. ID is required. Pantry officials ask that the vehicle trunks be open and that the drivers wear masks. The pantry is accepting new clients from Wellsville only.
