Nogay selected for West Virginia Super Lawyers
WEIRTON W.Va. — Attorney Mike Nogay has been selected for inclusion in the 2020 edition of Virginia and West Virginia Super Lawyers. This is Nogay’s sixth time to receive the honor, which is limited to only 5% of the state’s practicing attorneys. Nogay was chosen in the area of “Personal Injury Medical Malpractice: Plaintiff.” The selection process uses a patented multi-phase system including peer evaluation.
Nogay practices with his son, Max, in the Weirton law firm of Sellitti, Nogay and Nogay, PLLC. He is licensed to practice law in West Virginia, Ohio and Pennsylvania. His primary focus is on medical malpractice, wrongful death and serious state and federal felony cases. Nogay is the legal analyst for WTOV-9 in Steubenville.
Nogay received his law degree from Washington & Lee University in Lexington, Virginia in 1983. He earned his undergraduate degree from West Virginia University, magna cum laude, where he was elected to Phi Beta Kappa. Nogay and his wife, Robin, have been married for 34 years and have three adult children, Dr. Jennifer Nogay, a veterinarian in Pittsburgh; Attorney Edward Nogay of Charlotte, NC; and Attorney Max Nogay of Carnegie, Pa.
