HOOKSTOWN, Pa. — Jenna Johnston, a senior at South Side High School, has been selected as the January student of the month by the South Side Education Association. She is the daughter of Jeff Johnston of Beaver, Pa. and the granddaughter of Susie Cain of Hookstown.

During high school, she was a member of the National Honor Society and the Teen Leadership Corps. She was also a part of the Health Academy at the Community College of Beaver County.

Miss Johnston received academic excellence throughout her high school career along with distinguished honor roll. She was also on the part time Dean’s List through the Health Academy at the Community College of Beaver County.

She plans to attend the Community College of Beaver County to earn her Associate Degree in Nursing. She then plans to transfer to a four-year school to earn her Bachelor’s Degree.
