Tops 2231

EAST LIVERPOOL — TOPS 2231 met on Feb. 26 at Always Best Care, 1324 St. Clair Ave. with leader Tonnie Slagle presiding. The meeting opened with the pledges and roll call.

Pam Fouse gave the secretary report and Cassie Stephens gave the treasurer report. Both were approved as read.

Verla Betteridge and Cassie Stephens was the KOPS best losers and also the officers best losers. Betteridge had three weeks in leeway.

The no-nos are cookies, ice cream, and no eating after dinner.

Betteridge won the calorie charts, Stephens won the dimes and 50/50.

Fouse read an article on “Can Food Really Boost Your Mood.”

Slagle closed the meeting with prayer requests followed by the Lord’s Prayer. New and former members are always welcome on Tuesdays at 5 p.m.

Tops 1957

WELLSVILLE — TOPS 1957 of Wellsville met on Feb. 18 at the Living Well Church, with leader Connie Hissam opening with pledges, roll call and then Mary Schmidt led the group in prayer.

TOPS best loser was Schmidt and Mary Jarvis was the KOPS best loser. Alice Eckstein won the dimes and Hissam won the 50/50 drawing.

The State Recognition will be held in Akron on May 1-2. Let Hissam know if anyone is interested in going.

Birthdays were celebrated by Norma Rodgers and Brenda Young.

The no-no for the week is white bread.

Schmidt gave the program titled “What You Can Do.”

Barb Tranter read a funny story and Hissam closed the meeting wishing all a good week.

Tops 1341

GLENMOOR — TOPS 1341 met at the Glenmoor Presbyterian Church on Feb. 24, with Dorothy Garn, leader, presiding.

The best loser for the week was Barb Kalinowski and the runner-up was Becky Russell.

The drawing winners were: Marwynee Serafy, 50/50; Garn, calorie chart; Russell, weight loss; Serafy, junk food; and Nancy Boyd, jackpot.

Those earning recognition were: Jane Proctor, three times in the loser’s book.

No names are left on the TOPS and two names on the KOPS.

Attendance book were: Janice Hutchin, eight weeks; and Serafy, 88 weeks.

Russell holds travel box #1 and Garn holds travel box #2.

Kalinowski presented a program on “Lettuce”.

Russell will present the program next week.

Meetings are held every Monday with weigh-in from 4:30-5:30 p.m.
