Tops 2231
EAST LIVERPOOL — TOPS 2231 met on Jan. 7, at Always Best Care, 1324 Saint Clair Ave., with leader Tonnie Slagle presiding.
The meeting opened up with pledges and roll call.
Cassy Stephens gave the secretary report and the treasurer report. Both were approved as read.
Slagle was the KOPS best loser and officer best loser; three weeks weight loss was Slagle and Stephens; six weeks loss was Verla Betteridge.
Anita Kukich, Betteridge, Slagle, Stephens are all in leeway.
Slagle won the calorie charts; Betteridge won the dimes and Carolyn Hager won the 50/50. The no-no’s are cookies, and no eating after dinner.
Slagle closed the meeting with prayer requests followed by the Lord’s Prayer
New and former members are always welcome on Tuesdays at 5 p.m.
New View
NEW CUMBERLAND — The New View Community Educational Outreach Club held their January meeting at the Hancock County Senior Center.
President, Becky Wiegers, presided over the meeting with nine members present.
Louanne Huff, Health Motivator, presented information about how to be a consumer of food the right serving size.
Discussion and plans were made for the upcoming months.
Huff won the door prize.
The next meeting will be on Feb. 6 at the Senior Center.
