SALEM — The Salem Regional Medical Center (SRMC) Foundation and Southern Park Mall Chick-fil-A restaurant have announced that their recent fundraising partnership raised $441.15 to help fight breast cancer.

Community members were invited to support the fundraiser by purchasing sandwiches, waffle chips and cookies when Southern Park Mall Chick-fil-A visited SRMC on October 28. The restaurant donated 10% of all proceeds from the sale of lunch items that day to the Foundation in support of SRMC’s world-class cancer services.

“We truly appreciate the opportunity to partner with the Southern Park Mall Chick-fil-A in our fight against breast cancer, and are grateful for the tremendous support of our community in making this event a success,” said Amy Reed, SRMC Director of Development. “All of the donated funds will be used by the Foundation to benefit SRMC’s breast cancer services. Thank you to Chick-fil-A Southern Park Mall and all who came out to support our fight against breast cancer.”
