WEIRTON, W.Va. — The psychological thriller and dinner theatre experience “No Ordinary Man” is coming to the Ashley Marie Performing Arts Center (AMPAC), located at 2850 Weir Ave., on Oct. 11, 12, 18, 19, 25, & 26. Dinner served at 7:30 p.m., with curtain time at 8. Starring in the title role is Bobby Zinsmeister, who trained with Lenox, Mass. based Shakespeare & Company. AMPAC Artistic Director Shawn Holmes and AMPAC veteran Kelsey Ohler play the two detectives. Menu includes salad, pasta with marinara, and dessert and available before and during the performance. EAST LIVERPOOL — The East Liverpool High School Choir Boosters are holding a pulled chicken dinner and live auction Thursday, Oct. 10 in the high school cafeteria. Menu includes pulled chicken, barbeque or plain, mac-n-cheese, vegetable, salad and drinks, prepared by Hannah Spahr. Desserts provided by Simply Sweet Cakes, Dunkin Donuts and Tim Hortons. The dinner and a silent auction will be from 5 to 6:15 p.m., followed by the main event at 6:30, with Baer Auctioneers hosting a live auction selling over 120 items. The auction list can be found on Facebook, at ELHS CHOIR BOOSTER. Tickets to Pirates and Nailers games, as well as musicals such as Jersey Boys and Matilda are offered. All proceeds go to the ELHS Choir.
