EAST LIVERPOOL — Kids and their adults can join Carolyn and other volunteers to make a notecard or bookmark using pressed flowers, from 1:30 to 4 p.m. Saturday, July 27 in the classroom at the Beaver Creek Wildlife Education Center. This activity will take about 30 minutes to complete and participants will be able to take their creation home with them. EAST LIVERPOOL — The Klondyke Reunion Boosters is hosting a hot dog roast 6 p.m. Aug. 3 at the playground in East End. Food and non-alcoholic beverages provided. A 50/50 drawing, $25 gas card and money tree raffles available. Boyce Church will have services 10:30 a.m. Sunday morning under the tent. Public welcome.
WELLSVILLE — A 150th Anniversary Parade, hosted by the Wellsville Fire Department takes place 4 p.m. Saturday, Sept. 21, at the Wellsville High School, 1 Bengal Blvd. Line up at 2 p.m. Dash plaques for the first 50 registrants. EAST LIVERPOOL — The Support Group, ‘Parents Forever’ for parents who have experienced the death of a child will meet at 6:30 p.m. Thursday, July 25 in the Fellowship Hall of the First United Methodist Church, 200 West 5th Street, East Liverpool. EAST LIVERPOOL — The annual Champagne Luncheon will take place from noon to 2 p.m. Thursday, Aug. 22, 2019 at the Catholic Charities Senior Center, 600 E. Fourth Street. The money raised helps to provide services to area seniors and those in need through home delivered meals, monthly community dinners, Harriet’s Cupboard (cleaning supplies, paper and personal hygiene products), emergency assistance, socialization and health activities.
Tickets for the event are $20 per person. Reservations are encouraged, but tickets can be purchased at the door. You can mail your reservation to 600 E. Fourth St., East Liverpool, Ohio 43920 by Aug. 20. Menu includes roast beef, chicken, mashed potatoes, gravy, stuffing, noodles, green beans, tossed salad, dinner rolls, mousse, cookies, ice tea punch or champagne punch.
