Benefit car show set for June 29
COLUMBIANA — TownCenter at Firestone Farms, located at the corner of state Routes 7 and 14 in Columbiana, will host a Benefit Car Show from 4-7 p.m. Saturday, June 29. All proceeds to benefit the Salem Regional Medical Center (SRMC) Foundation, which raises funds to support patient care at SRMC.
In addition to the classic and specialty vehicles, the festivities will include a Chinese auction and 50/50 drawing. Visitors will also have the opportunity to participate in free health screenings provided by SRMC and browse the TownCenter’s specialty shops and restaurants. Following the car show, attendees can stay for live music from 7-9 p.m. by The John Reese Project.
The event is open to the public, and admission is free for all spectators. The cost to register a vehicle in the show is $5.00. All makes and models of cars, trucks, jeeps, semis, motorcycles and tractors are welcome. Trophies will be awarded in various categories, with special guest judges to include SRMC President/CEO Dr. Anita Hackstedde; orthopaedic surgeon Dr. Lee Simon of Salem Orthopaedic Surgery; and urologist Dr. Michael Scolieri of the Comprehensive Urology Institute. Those who wish to participate in the car show are encouraged to pre-register their vehicles to secure a dash plaque and receive exclusive items.
