Maxwell McEndree

CALCUTTA — Maxwell McEndree, son of Melanie McEndree of Calcutta, has been recognized as a member of Sigma Alpha Lambda, National Leadership and Honors Organization at the Youngstown State University. SAL is dedicated to promoting and rewarding academic achievement and providing members with opportunities for community service, personal development, and lifelong professional fulfillment.

Terran Stacey

EAST LIVERPOOL — The DAR Good Citizens Award and Scholarship Contest, created in 1934, is intended to encourage and reward the qualities of good citizenship. This award recognizes and rewards individuals who possess the qualities of dependability, service, leadership, and patriotism in their homes, schools, and communities. These students are selected because they demonstrate these qualities to an outstanding degree. Only one student per year may be honored as the school’s DAR Good Citizen, and this year Terran Stacey was chosen by the East Liverpool High School Faculty and Administration to receive this award.

Alexis Rhodes

SALINEVILLE — Alexis Rhodes, daughter of Jaimee Rhodes of Salineville, has been selected the Salineville Kiwanis Student of the Month for March at Southern Local High School. She is ranked 15 in her graduating class with a 3.886 GPA. She has been on the A/B Honor Roll throughout her high school career and was inducted into the National Honor Society as a junior, plus she participates in the College Credit Plus program and Advanced Placement classes.

She lettered in softball as a sophomore and volleyball as a junior and also led the volleyball team as they were crowned OVAC champions during her junior and senior years. She is also a member of the Varsity Club, Leadership Committee, Blue Crew, an office aide and does community service work for the National Honor Society.

She plans to attend West Liberty University to obtain a bachelor’s degree in nursing.
