GLENMOOR — TOPS 1341 met at the Glenmoor Presbyterian Church on March 18, with leader Marlene Reynolds opening with the pledges. Best loser was Reynolds and runner-up was Judy McComas. The Awards program will be April 8.
Drawing winners were: calorie chart, Margaret Jackman; weight loss, Cassie Ensinger; junk food, Marwynne Serafy; jackpot, Lydia Krart; and 50/50, Janice Hutchin. New no-nos are ice cream and potato chips.
Jackman and Reynolds were recognized for eight weeks attendance; Hutchin and Darlene Naukam for 16 weeks and Jane Proctor for 144 weeks. Cathy Wollam had the program on sleeping problems as we age. Becky Russell has the program next week. Cards and concerns were shared.
The meeting closed with The Lord’s Prayer. Interested visitors are welcome from 5-6:30 p.m. each Monday.
EAST LIVERPOOL — TOPS 2231 met at Always Best Care, 1324 St. Clair Ave. on March 19 with leader Mary Wolf presiding. The meeting opened with the TOPS and KOPS pledges and roll call.
Pam Fouse read the secretary report and Cassy Stephens read the treasurer report. Both were approved as read.
Verla Betteridge was the KOPS best loser and Fouse was the TOPS and officers best loser. Three weeks in leeway are Stephens and Tonnie Slagle. Six weeks in leeway are Anita Kukich, Carolyn Hager and Wolf.
The no-nos are ice cream, cookies and no eating after dinner.
Slagle won the calorie charts. Fouse won the dimes and 50/50.
Wolf read an article on “13 Facts About St. Patrick Day.”
Stephens had an article on 1 1/2 Minute Law and information on Blood Pressure and Types of Blood.
The meeting closed with prayer requests followed by the Lord’s Prayer. New and former members are always welcome at 5 p.m. Tuesdays.
