‘Jaxon’s Journey Fun Day’ set for March 9

WELLSVILLE — Jaxon’s Journey Fun Day takes place from 1-5 p.m. March 9 at Wellsville High School, to help support 2-year-old Jaxon Powell, son of Scott and Heather Powell of Wellsville. He was diagnosed with Leukemia in December and is undergoing treatment through Akron Children’s Hospital.

The event will include an inflatable bounce house, slide and obstacle course, games and prizes, pictures with Superheroes and Princesses, face painting, balloon animals and more. Pre-sale tickets can be purchased at All Sports Supplies in Calcutta or from Bob and Robin’s Florist in East Liverpool. Cost is $5 donation and includes unlimited play on the inflatables and 10 tickets to use on the other activities. Each activity will take a specific number of tickets. Additional tickets can be purchased 10 for $5. Entrance at the door the day of the event will be $7. Adult entry is free, and all children must be accompanied by an adult. A Chinese auction as well as concessions available. All proceeds go to the Powell family.
