Tops 1390

EAST LIVERPOOL — TOPS 1390 met Oct. 2 at Oakland Free Methodist Church, with treasurer, Karen Brereton, presiding. The best loser was Verla Ferlaino. The runner-up was Gerry DuMoulin. The no-no is ice cream.

Du Moulin won the calorie chart drawing. Brereton and Ferlaino remain in the check contest. Florence Smith won the 50/50.

Brereton gave the program.

The meeting closed with prayer request and The Lord’s Prayer.

Tops 2231

EAST LIVERPOOL — TOPS 2231 met at Always Best Care, 1324 St. Clair on Oct 9, with leader Mary Wolf presiding. The meeting opened with the TOPS and KOPS pledges and roll call.

Cassy Stephens read the treasurer report and Pam Fouse read the secretary report. Both were approved as read.

Tonnie Slagle was the TOPS biggest loser. Verla Betteridge and Stephens was the KOPS and officer biggest loser.

Stephens, Wolf and Betteridge had six weeks in leeway.

Carolyn Hager was the September biggest loser.

Betteridge won the calorie charts, Wolf won the dimes, and Fouse won the 50/50.

The no-nos are cookies and chips.

Wolf read an article from Area Captain Dianna Herbert about the TOPS and KOPS Tales. Fouse read an article on “Eat to Beat the Pain”.

The meeting closed with prayer requests followed by the Lord’s Prayer. New and former members are always welcome at 5 p.m. on Tuesdays.
