GLENMOOR — The annual “Kick-Off Sunday” takes place following the 11 a.m. worship service Sunday at Glenmoor ECO Presbyterian Church, state Route 267.

Weather permitting, lunch will be provided at the picnic shelter (or social hall). Events include games, prizes and pony rides for the children.

A mission project will be Franklin Graham’s “Samaritan’s Purse/Operation Christmas Child.” Those attending will pack school boxes filled with various items to be sent to children in need. An old-fashioned hymn sing will follow.

NEW CUMBERLAND — A limited number of spaces remain for the annual New York City overnight trip, Oct. 20-21, sponsored by the Music and Art at Oak Glen festival committee. Cost per person is $179 to $221, based upon double, triple or quad occupancy, and covers hotel accommodations at Wall Street Inn and roundtrip charter transportation. WELLSVILLE — The Wellsville High School Yearbook Staff is sponsoring a “red-eye” chartered bus trip to New York City, Nov. 30 through Dec. 2. Cost is $95. Board the bus on Friday at Wellsville High School, be in the city all day Saturday, and return early Sunday. A $50 deposit or full payment required to reserve seat.
