BOARDMAN — Gamblers Anonymous meets 7:30 p.m. Friday at Westminster Presbyterian Church, Stadium Drive, Boardman, and 7:30 p.m. Sunday at Christ Presbyterian Church, Hopkins Road, Youngstown (Cornersburg). No charge to attend. Donation taken at each meeting to provide coffee, sugar and creamer, treats, and free literature. Meetings are about 90 minutes.

CALCUTTA — The Calcutta Lions Club will host a pasta dinner fundraiser 11 a.m. to 3 p.m. Sept. 30 at Adrian’s Restaurant. Proceeds go toward Beaver Local High School scholarships, two Beaver Local Camp Fitch attendees, eyecare, fireworks for the Memorial Day festivities in Calcutta, adopting a family at Christmas from Beaver Local, and other programs. Tickets are $8 per person and includes spaghetti, meatballs, bread, roll, tea, coffee or water. Carryout available minus drink. Tickets can be purchased at Stitch-A-Long (across from the new car dealership in Calcutta), Sabatini’s, Mini-Mart in Calcutta, or any Calcutta Lions Club member. Tickets also available at the door the day of the event.

EAST LIVERPOOL — The East Liverpool-Calcutta Area Garden Club will host its Christmas Home Tour 1-5 p.m. Dec. 2. The tour will originate at The East Liverpool Country Club where attendees receive their map of the homes on tour and will be treated to cocoa, cookies and music. A raffle of gift baskets available with tickets on sale. Proceeds from tour used for beautification of the community through Garden Club projects. Tickets for the 5-home tour are $20 each and are limited. They are available now at J. Sabatini Shoe Store in Calcutta and from Garden Club members.
