EAST LIVERPOOL — Mindy Madzia was selected as Clinical Instructor of the Year by students and staff of the physical therapist assistant program at Kent State East Liverpool.

A licensed physical therapist with Blue Sky Therapy, Madzia works at Villa Vista Nursing Home in Steubenville, and also provides home health therapy services.

As a clinical instructor, she works with PTA students who are placed in the facility as part of their educational experience and training. She recently became the first clinical instructor for KSU to take two students from different campuses, this year working with the Ashtabula Campus.

Madzia is a 1997 graduate of the KSU-East Liverpool PTA program and has been with Blue Sky for 14 years. She lives in Cadiz.

KSU-East Liverpool offers an associate degree program for students interested in becoming physical therapist assistants. To learn more, visit www.kent.edu/columbiana.
