EAST LIVERPOOL — Emmanuel Presbyterian Church will celebrate the Presbyterian Women Thank Offering with Moderator Beth Schmitt during the 11 a.m. worship service Sunday. Her message is titled “Diverse Yet One In Christ”. Aaron Bunfill will perform the anthem “Lord, Have Mercy”. A Minute for Mission will be given by Lynda Sparks.

EAST LIVERPOOL — Worship service begins at 10:45 a.m. Sunday at First United Methodist Church, W. 5th Street, led by Pastor Stephen J. Knisely. He will bring the message, “It’s a Miracle”. The scripture lesson will be read by Judy Kidder. Bob Herman will sing two solos.

GLENMOOR — The Glenmoor ECO Presbyterian Church, state Route 267 (Lisbon Street) will observe Labor Day weekend this Sunday during the 10 a.m. service of worship. Music provided by Beth Weir who will be singing a solo.

Pastor Vel Vais’ topic is titled, “Claiming the Prize” with text from Matthew 13:44-52. Children’s Church is provided during the service. The church is handicap accessible and the sanctuary is air-conditioned.

EAST LIVERPOOL — Mr. John Smith will be the guest speaker during the 10 a.m. worship service Sunday at Grace Presbyterian Church. His sermon title will be “Can You Save Yourself?” Children’s Sunday school is held during the service.

EAST LIVERPOOL — The Heights Church, formerly Pleasant Heights United Brethren In Christ Church, will host the Living Proof Simulcast event, with Beth Moore from 10:30 a.m. to 5:30 p.m. Saturday, Sept. 15. Door open at 9:30 a.m. Cost is $15 and includes lunch. Along with Beth Moore, one of today’s top women’s ministry leaders, worship pastor, and Dove Award recipient Travis Cottrell will lead worship via simulcast.

Presented by the Nashville-based publishing company LifeWay Christian Resources, Living Proof Live will simulcast from its Huntsville, Ala., event, so women across the globe will be able to experience a live Bible study with Beth Moore.

EAST LIVERPOOL — The Ohio Valley Missionary Union meets 3 p.m. Sunday at Sheridan AME Church. Pastor Brenda Johnson and President Sis Shannon Peachey.

WELLSVILLE — Oak Ridge and Yellow Creek Presbyterian Churches will continue to worship together, during the month of September at Yellow Creek on state Route 45, Wellsville. Service begins at 10:30 a.m., with Sunday School at 9:30.
