EAST LIVERPOOL — Emmanuel Presbyterian Church welcomes Rev. Margie Zellars to the pulpit during the 11 a.m. worship service Sunday. Pocket change will be collected during the month of August for the Tri-State Chaplaincy. A Session meeting will be held following worship.

A special music concert takes place at 4 p.m., featuring various sacred and classical music by local musicians Aaron Bunfill, Janet Stover and Bradley Bonam. Public welcome. Refreshments served.

GLENMOOR — The Glenmoor ECO Presbyterian Church, state Route 267 (Lisbon St.), will emphasize the theme, “Christ: the Solid Rock” this Sunday during the 10 a.m. service of worship. The soloist, Andy Blanchard will sing “Feels Like Home.”

Pastor Vel Vais’ topic is titled, “Like a Rock”, with the text from I Corinthians 10:1-13.

Children’s Church is provided during the service. The church is handicap accessible and the sanctuary is air-conditioned.

EAST LIVERPOOL — The Rev. John Bower will be the guest speaker during the 10 a.m. worship service Sunday at Grace Presbyterian Church. His sermon title will be “The Parable of the Sower”, with scripture reference from Mark 4. Sunday school is held during the service.

A free ice cream social takes place at 6 p.m. on the lawn. Former pastor Rev. Dr. Allan Drake will lead the singing. Bring chairs. Public welcome.

CALCUTTA — The Long’s Run Trinity Presbyterian Church welcomes Reverend Mark Wilds as guest Pastor during the 10:30 a.m. worship service. His sermon title is “I am Baptized!”, with scripture from Matthew 14. Special music provided by Jolaina Dissette. The sacrament of Holy Baptism will be celebrated, presenting Harper Rose Hoit for baptism. She is the daughter of Jack and Miranda Hoit. Nursery is held during the service for children in grade 2-younger.

ROGERS — A free gospel concert, featuring The Sons of Liberty of Stanton, Ky., and Glorybound of Negley, takes place 6 p.m. Saturday, Aug. 18 at Rogers Assembly of God Church, Sprucevale Rd.

The Royal Rangers will have food available for purchase beginning at 4:45 p.m. Menu includes pizza, hotdogs, homemade ice cream, pie, coffee, pop and bottled water.

The Sons of Liberty will perform during the 10:30 a.m. worship service Sunday, Aug. 19. Free coffee and cookies available at 9:30 a.m. in the fellowship hall. Public welcome.
