East Liverpool police reports

Officers responded to Fenton Street to remove a man and a woman from a home on Friday. The man had left by the time officers arrived and the woman was allowed to stay.

Officers check for drug activity on Penn Avenue on Friday, but did not find any.

Officers were notified a vehicle had its door left open at Friday’s football game. An officer shut the door and noted nothing appeared to be missing.

Officers dispatched to a home on Morton Street on Friday for two loose dogs. The dogs had escaped through an open door. Officers were able to capture one dog and return it to the home, but could not catch the other dog. Officers left a note for the homeowner explaining the situation.

An officer dispatched to the 400 lot of Wilbert Avenue for the report of a package theft on Friday. The officer was able to retrieve the package from the person who took it and give it back to the intended recipient.

Officers checked state Route 11 south for an accident in the construction zone on Saturday. Officers did not find the reported accident.

Officers dispatched to a residence on Dresden Avenue for a disturbance on Saturday. The home owner reported a resident had been threatening others at the home. Officers spoke to both the homeowner and the resident. They advised the resident to stay inside his room and to leave the others alone. Officers gave him a warning that he would be removed if they had to come back.

Officers went to an abandoned house on Avondale Street to check the premises on Saturday, after a report of suspected drug activity. Officers did not find anything.

Officers received a report of three people throwing rocks at a house on College Street on Saturday. They were described as driving a tan van. Officers were able to find them. They denied throwing stones and said they were visiting a friend. Officers advised they don’t go back to College Street.

Officers arrested both Bradley Kuns and Laura Meadows on Saturday for public indecency, after being “caught up in the moment,” according to the report.

Officers received a call of a possible wreck on Walnut Street on Saturday. Officers did not find the reported accident.

Darryl Brinkley was taken into Columbiana County Sheriff custody for a warrant on Saturday, and Karen Lanious was given a citation for a loud exhaust. Officers saw Lanious merge onto 39 east without using a turn signal and noticed a headlight out and a loud exhaust. Officers initiated a traffic stop and ran the vehicles four passengers identifications finding Brinkley had a warrant out of both the Columbiana County and East Liverpool Police. She was given a court date for her East Liverpool warrant.

Officers dispatched to Park Avenue for the report of screaming. The resident of the apartment said everyone was fine and there was no screaming.
