Tylor Kelly, 24, Calcutta-Smith ferry Road, East Liverpool, pleaded guilty in Common Pleas Court to failure to comply with an order or signal of a police officer. He faces up to three years in prison, a lifetime license suspension and a $10,000 fine. Sentencing is set for Dec. 6. On Jan. 30, Kelly refused to stop the vehicle he was driving, fleeing a total of 3.4 miles at well over the posted speed limit, putting himself and others in serious physical risk while driving in a way that constituted multiple traffic violations and nearly struck a highway patrol trooper outside of the cruiser.
Amber A. Cox, 37, Lincoln Avenue, East Liverpool, pleaded guilty to possession of cocaine for drugs she had on Aug. 23, 2018. Cox also pleaded guilty to a second charge of possession of cocaine, this time connected with the Operation Big Oak indictment. She faces up to two years in prison and a $5,000 fine. Sentencing is set for Dec. 2.
