Lisbon Police Reports

Police were called to the Hornsby House at 11:34 a.m. Monday to stand by while a mentally handicapped resident was taken by ambulance to a local hospital to be evaluated.

A caller reported there was a snake under the scaffolding in front of 215 E. Lincoln Way at 10:34 a.m. Monday. Police kept people away until the Critter Gitter from New Waterford arrived and relocated the snake.

Mary Ketchum of Salineville was unparking in the county municipal court lot when she struck a parked car belonging to Michael Nishimura of Austintown at 10:55 a.m. Monday.

Police responded to a fight at the Sadie Van Fossen pool at 3:09 p.m. Saturday. It turned out the parties had been arguing, and one of them had left.

Police responded to an open burning complaint at 511 E. Lincoln Way at 3:53 p.m. Monday and saw that the fire was almost out. Police gave the property owner a warning for burning tree limbs and leaves in his yard.

A truck belonging to Hilltop Energy and being driven by Erik C. McCord backed into a station wagon operated by Daniel Grimm. This occurred outside the East Pearl restaurant at 4:37 p.m. Monday.
