Columbiana County Common Pleas
In Common Pleas Court, Christian R. Barrow, also known as, 2-1, of Cleveland, pleaded guilty to a lesser offense of complicity to robbery, felonious assault and two counts of intimidation. Sentencing is set for Oct. 18. Barrow was involved with several inmates at the county jail on April 17, when they assaulted and robbed Joshua Peterson, then intimidated Peterson and another person, Robert Hiner, in May to convince them not to report the assault and help dispose of the evidence. Barrow is facing up to 22 years in prison and $50,000 in fines.
Wendi R. Hunley, 43, Oak Drive, Wellsville, pleaded guilty to illegal conveyance of drugs of abuse onto the grounds of a detention facility, a third-degree felony, and illegal assembly or possession of chemicals for the manufacture of drugs, a third degree felony. Sentencing is set for Nov. 8, when she faces up to six years in prison and a fine of $20,000. On June 22, 2018, Hunley had attempted to bring a drug of abuse into a government facility and on Dec. 1, 2018 she allegedly had the chemicals to manufacture methamphetamines.
Andrea E. Walters, 22, Youngstown, stipulated to violating the terms of her community control from a vandalism charge when she had a 2015 Chevrolet Malibu in August of 2015, which belonged to Columbiana Buick-Cadillac-Chevrolet, drove it for three weeks before returning it with $3,931 in damage and more than 3,000 miles over the allowance. The violations were financial and community control was terminated.
