LISBON — Samantha J. Monroe, 29, Shadyside, stipulated to violating the terms of her community control. She was sentenced on Monday to 18 months in Marysville for the charges, which she had previously pleaded guilty to — illegal conveyance of a drug of abuse onto the grounds of a detention facility, possession of drugs and possession of drug paraphernalia. On Nov. 8, 2015, Monroe was found to have crack cocaine when she was being taken into custody by a corrections officer at the county jail, a day when she also had a set of scales, a metal smoking device, a wooden stick and a blue plastic straw.
