Columbiana County Common Pleas

In Common Pleas Court, Brian S. Noble, 48, state Route 170, East Liverpool, was placed on a four-year community control sanction, which is to include a definite term of six months at the Eastern Ohio Correction Center. Noble was being sentenced in two cases — one for receiving stolen property and one for two counts of possession of drugs. On May 8, 2018, Noble had amphetamine and buprenorphine. Starting in July 2017 and continuing through that December, Noble had carbide and brass in his possession, which had been stolen from Butech Inc., where he had been employed at the time. He took the scrap to Broadway Metal and Iron and American Recycling on numerous occasions to obtain money from the stolen items.

Brian A. Lodge, 32, Old State Route 558, Salem, was found eligible for intervention in lieu of conviction, pleaded guilty to two counts of possession of drugs for having heroin and fentanyl on Dec. 19, 2017 and was placed on a three-year intervention treatment plan.

Donna M. Jarvis, 27, Maple Hill Road, Salineville, stipulated to violating the terms of her probation from a prior conviction of illegal conveyance of a drug of abuse onto the grounds of a detention facility. Jarvis will continue on probation under the same terms, but she was also sentenced to 60 days in jail with credit for 45 days already served.

Gage A. Davis, 23, Mt. Vernon, was found eligible for intervention in lieu of conviction and pleaded guilty to possession of drugs for having .167 grams of cocaine in the waistband of his shorts on July 3, 2017. He was placed on a three-year intervention treatment plan.

Sharron J. Winphrie, 37, Youngstown, pleaded guilty to two counts of possession of drugs for having amphetamines and buprenorphine found in her purse during a traffic stop in Columbiana on March 9, 2018. Winphrie was placed on a three-year community control sanction.
