Lisbon Police Reports

Nicole Sayer reported Thursday someone put sugar into the gas tank of her SUV while she was staying in the white house behind the police department.

A clerk at Smith Oil reported Thursday someone in a silver Chevrolet pickup truck drove off without paying for $66 in gas. The license plate came back to a man who lives on Steubenville Pike.

Timothy J. Johnson, 38, Roller Coaster Road, Lisbon, was charged with a turn signal violation, receiving stolen property and driving with fictitious plates following a traffic stop on North Vine Street 7:31 p.m. Thursday. While talking with Johnson, police learned from their dispatcher the license plate sticker came back as stolen out of Campbell. Johnson said someone he knows had stolen his vehicle but it was later recovered by Columbiana police, and he had just gotten the vehicle back. The officer told Johnson he is still responsible for what is inside and outside of the vehicles he drives.

Police were called to 306 Lee Ave. at 12:24 p.m. Wednesday by a woman who wanted a man removed from the premises. The man called for a ride while police were there.
