In County Municipal Court, a July 22 preliminary hearing was set for Ray F. Woods II, 27, Whinnery Road, Winona, charged with domestic violence for allegedly grabbing Jessica Hilderbrand by the arm, swinging her around, pushed her on the bed on her belly and laid on top of her while she was pregnant.

An Aug. 20 pretrial was set for Dorian N. Sheets, 32, Carbon Hill Road, East Palestine, cited with OVI first offense and expired license.

Brandon M. Huff, 24, East Sandyvale Drive, Minerva, was credited with three days in jail and sentenced to an additional 177 days in jail for assault for punching Kevin Wasmire in the face on Saturday.

Michael A. Smith, 44, Woodland Avenue, Alliance, was fined $150 and credited with 12 days served in jail for domestic violence for striking Sarah L. Delpuppo as she was driving down the road and he was riding in the passenger seat on July 4.

Phillip R. Cline, 46, West Wilson Street, Salem, was sentenced to three days in jail, fined $250 and required 40 hours community service for driving under a 12-point suspension.

A Sept. 3 pretrial was set for Gary L. Sheen Jr., 42, Georgetown-Damascus Road, Beloit, charged with three counts of prohibitions concerning companion animals for allegedly having a beagle mix and two pit bull mix dogs outside in below zero temperatures on Jan. 30.

William Daniel Faulkner, 31, Gromley Road, Salem, was fined $180 for material on the roadway and failure to control.

A July 22 pretrial was set for Dkwan M. Wise, 23, 16 School Road, Wellsville, charged with theft for allegedly taking Samantha Jones’ vehicle.

Delaney M. Brown, 25, state Route 45, Salem, was credited with a day in jail and required 40 hours community service for possession of a drug abuse instrument for a hypodermic needle in her glove box on March 15.

Shane Linden, 40, Crestview Road, Leetonia, was fined $150 and required 25 hours community service for driving under suspension.

James D. Metz, 58, McCormick Road, West Point, was fined $150 and required 25 hours community service for driving under suspension.

Avery L. Sandoe, 24, East Seventh Street, Salem, was fined $150 for possession of marijuana.

Jeremiah Bryce Weibush, 23, Avalon Avenue, Alliance, was fined $130 for driving under suspension and speeding.

Santiago Ajenel Hernandez, 21, Canton, was fined $50 for no licenses.

Allen Scott Vancooney, 24, South Union Street, Salem, was fined $200 and sentenced to 60 days in jail for obstructing official business for giving police a fake name when he knew he had a warrant on July 8.

Dakota S. McCluskey, 27, Hill Top Drive, Lisbon, was sentenced to 180 days in jail for two counts of assault for punching Kevin Wasmire in the head and hitting Deryl Greathouse several times, while he was an inmate at the county jail.

A July 23 pretrial was set for James M. Houshour, 27, Continental Drive, Salem, charged with driving under suspension, failure to stop after an accident and obstructing official business for allegedly fleeing from an accident on foot on Monday.

An Aug. 26 pretrial was set for Corey J. Helms, 25, Youngstown, cited with passing bad checks.

Joseph McKarns, 59, state Route 644, Summitville, was fined $150 for lighted lights required amended from failure to yield the right of way.

Caitlyn Elizabeth Sheely, 19, state Route 7, New Waterford, was fined $50 for open container.

Jordan T. Venables, 23, Reeder Avenue NE, Alliance, was fined $150 for an equipment violation amended from speeding.

An Aug. 27 pretrial was set for Shane W. Barnes Jr., 28, South Main Street, Columbiana, cited with driving under suspension.
