Salineville Police Reports

Police were called to 78 W. Main St. about a suspicious man at 1:30 p.m. Saturday.

Police were called to a neighbor dispute at the apartment house on at 29 Summit St., at 6:44 p.m. Friday.

A man who lives at 25 Market St. reportedly shot himself in the left hand while cleaning his handgun about 1 p.m. Friday. Police were contacted by the staff at the hospital in Salem after the man showed up there to be treated.

The Buckeye Water District called for police to assist them with a meter that had been tampered with at 309 Walnut Ridge on June 12.

The residents at 199 E. Main St. reported June 12 someone broke into their home by forcing open the back door and took 100 syringes used by one of the residents for her diabetes. Nothing else appeared to be missing.

Toronto police asked local police on June 11 to look for a man supposedly at a home on Water Street.

The man was wanted on sexual battery and gross sexual imposition charges, but he was not there.

Police were called to 54 Madison Ave.. on June 10 in regard to an intoxicated man.

A caller reported some juvenile were riding an ATV on Academy Street on June 10.

Police were called to 218 McGavern Road in regard to a suspicious man at 3:55 p.m. Thursday.
