Todd A. Hawthorne was arrested on a domestic violence charge at 2:56 p.m. Friday in the 700 block of Avondale Street, after allegedly grabbing his life-in girlfriend by the neck in front of witnesses.
Police responded to Lisbon Street shortly before 2 a.m. Friday to look for a wanted subject for Liverpool Township.
Officers responded at 12:22 a.m. Friday in the 600 block of Bradshaw Avenue to a disabled vehicle at Giant Eagle.
William D. Jacquet was arrested at 6:57 p.m. Friday when police responded to a disturbance in the 1000 block of Huston Street.
Police had no contact with alleged subjects at 6:40 p.m. Friday in the 300 block of Market Street, smoking methamphetamine.
A verbal warning was given to a driver at 12:06 a.m. Friday in the first block of Maine Boulevard for an illegal U-turn.
Morgan Cox, no address listed, was arrested at 1:56 a..m. Saturday in the 1880 block of Anderson Boulevard on a public intoxication charge, after allegedly threatening to shoot his girlfriend while inside a bar.
Chase Joseph William Murphy, no address listed, was arrested at 3:59 a.m. Saturday in the first block of Pennsylvania Avenue in front of Hall China behind the wheel of his vehicle. Murphy had the car still in drive with the ignition on and parked in the middle of the street. Officers noticed the strong odor of marijuana, tracking it to a glass marijuana smoking bowl on the passenger side floor board. Also recovered from inside the vehicle was a marijuana grinder with residue, a package of rolling papers and two sandwich bags with residue. He also admitted to driving five beers between 8:30 p.m. and 2 a.m. and smoking marijuana two hours earlier. He was charged with OVI and possession of marijuana paraphernalia.
