Jessica Scarry, Bayard Road, West Township, reported coming home after 10 p.m. Friday and finding her front door open and seeing a person possibly in an upstairs bedroom window. A deputy searched the house but did not find anyone inside, nor was any property damaged or missing.

Brenda Pifer, Westville Lake Road, Knox Township, reported her F-250 pickup truck was found with a dent on the side and wondered if someone did it when they backed into her driveway Thursday night.

Wayne Falb, Knox School Road, West Township, reported June 7 a vehicle he had for sale in his front yard was stolen.

Deputies responded to a possible domestic dispute on West Main Street, Washingtonville, at 8:31 p.m. Wednesday. Deputies were told it was an argument between brothers but nothing physical occurred.

Deputies were called to the 40000 block of Sunset Drive, Yellow Creek Township, at 9:36 p.m. Thursday in regard to people revving their vehicle engines for the past 30 minutes. Deputies sat and listened but heard no noises.

Deputies responding to a domestic dispute on Beacon Light Road, Center Township, at 6 p.m. Saturday spoke to Andrew Shafer, who said there was no dispute. Another person at the scene said there were firearms in vehicle, and a township police officer saw Shafer attempt to grab some marijuana joints from the vehicle and hand them to a woman who was also there. Based on this information, the deputy searched the trunk and found a number firearms, one of which — a single-shot shotgun — was taken into custody because it was believed to be stolen. Also seized were two loaded handguns.

David W. Phillis, Darlington Road, Beaver Falls, Pa., reported Saturday the county dog warden has his dogs and is refusing to return them. Phillis was advised this was a civil matter and he needs to contact an attorney.

Deputies went to the residence at 22348 U.S. Route 39, West Township, at 11:12 p.m. Saturday, but they were unable to locate anyone after a woman could be heard yelling at a man on a 911 call that was left open. No one was there when they arrived. Deputies were called back to the same apartment house at 2:45 a.m. Sunday in response to domestic dispute between Tammy K. Roof and Trent A. Campbell. The 48-year-old Campbell ended up being arrested for domestic violence.

Amanda C. Moore, Foundry Hill Road, Franklin Township, reported someone used her credit card to make three purchases totaling $7,360 from Jared the Galleria of Jewelry in Woodbridge, Va. Moore said these fraudulent transactions occurred while she was at work in Salem.

A caller reported there was a dead horse on Applegate Road, Wayne Township, at 12:18 p.m. Saturday. Deputies found the horse under the power lines near Applegate Road and spoke to property owner John Todd, who said the horse belonged to his brother. Deputies contacted the brother, who said he would make arrangements to dispose of the horse.

Deputies were called to a home on Wells Hollow Road, Yellow Creek Township, on June 10 to stand by until an ambulance arrived to transport the person there to a local hospital.

Susan Belanfer, Second Street, Hanoverton, reported Saturday the passenger side vent window of her vehicle was shot with a BB pellet.
