In County Municipal Court Brandon Huff, 24, East Sandyvale Drive, Minerva, was bound over to the grand jury on a domestic violence charge for allegedly pushing and biting Ciara White on May 16 when she is reportedly eight weeks pregnant with his child.

A May 30 pretrial was set for Carl H. Henkel, 37, state Route 344, Leetonia, charged with aggravated menacing and menacing. Henkel allegedly posted several threats against Salem Township Constable Dan Valentine online, including one reference to shooting Valentine.

A July 8 pretrial was set for Donald C. Carlisle, 39, Hilltop Drive, Lisbon, charged with OVI first offense, driving under suspension and failure to control.

A May 28 pretrial was set for Kasey L. Helisek, 26, East Clark Street, East Palestine, charged with endangering children for allegedly allowing two children ages 4 and 7, to live in a home with loose garbage, animal feces, bed bugs, old food and other bugs on May 7.

Darrell Eugene Blake Jr, 32, 14th Street, Wellsville, was fined $250 for speeding, possession of marijuana and marijuana paraphernalia for rolling papers.

Daniel Keith Duncan, 40, West High Street, Salineville, was fined $450 and required 40 hours community service for driving under FRA suspension, driving under suspension and loud exhaust. A failure to produce a license citation was dismissed.

Sheena Poland, 35, West Main Street, East Palestine, was credited with three days in jail, required 30 hours community service and fined $100 for disorderly conduct for yelling and carrying on when she was escorted to her boyfriend’s place to get some of her belongings, then refusing to stop when told to do so.

Christopher M. May, 38, West Perry Street, Salem, was fined $100, required 30 hours community service, credited with a day in jail and sentenced to two additional days in jail for walking out of Smith Oil on Tuesday without paying for $1.89 in merchandise. When asked by a store employee to pay for the item, May reportedly said he would just go outside and wait for police. He then told police he needed somewhere to go for the evening so he stole the item.

A June 17 pretrial was set for Mitchell O. Lacey, 47, Freeman Road, Lisbon, charged with theft for allegedly taking candy from Smith Oil in Lisbon on Sunday.

Jonuel Rosario-Camacho, 22, Youngstown, was fined $175 and required 20 hours community service for no license and expired plate.

A July 11 pretrial was set for Albert McVay, 55, Freeman Road, Lisbon, charged with theft for allegedly putting candy down the front of his pants at Smith Oil in Lisbon on Sunday.

A June 24 pretrial was set for Mykel John Simms, Irish Ridge Road, East Liverpool, charged with driving under a 12-point suspension and traffic control devices.

A July 11 pretrial was set for Eric W. Uphold, 48, Goshen Road, Salem, charged with theft for allegedly taking a bottle of ketchup, mayonnaise and maseca (flour) totaling $12 from a ledge near the front of the Salem Sparkle on May 11. The bag belonged to another customer.

Sandra Leighanne Worthy, 21, Charlton Drive, Lisbon, was fined $150 and required 20 hours community service for no license.

Joey S. Buxton, 40, East Liverpool Road, Lisbon, was fined $150 for passing bad checks for writing a check for $187 on Oct. 8 to Brad’s Carpet and Upholstery Cleaning, which was returned for insufficient funds.

A July 9 pretrial was set for Dartanyen T. Helton, 23, Lexington Avenue, Salem, cited with failure to reinstate a license and speeding.
