Lisbon police reports

A traffic stop for a turn signal violation and faulty exhaust resulted in Adam A. Cochran, 30, being cited for driving under suspension and open container. The traffic stop occurred on West Washington Street at 9:52 p.m. Sunday, with police determining Cochran had a suspended license out of Louisiana. Cochran declined to let police search his vehicle, and arrangements were made to have the vehicle towed, which allowed police to take an inventory of the vehicle’s contents. Once inside police smelled alcohol, and Cochran admitted there was an open can of Bud Light beer in a grocery bag wrapped around the gear shift.

James Evans, East Chestnut Street, reported Monday the rear window of his van was broken out while the vehicle was parked outside his home.

A caller reported a syringe and baggie were found on the ground in the 100 block of Pritchard Avenue at 10:44 a.m. Monday. The items were examined by police and discarded.

Mary Bowser, South Lincoln Avenue, reported Monday the rear window of her van was shattered with a BB gun while parked at her home.
