Wolfe suffers injury

DENVER–Denver Broncos defensive end, and 2008 Beaver Local graduate, Derek Wolfe suffered a hairline fracture in his elbow during the third quarter of Sunday night’s 30-20 to the Raiders. Broncos coach Gary Kubiak said the injury was still being evaluated, but said the team got “encouraging”  results from initial exams. A definite timetable for Wolfe’s return has not yet been set. The fifth-year defensive end has compiled 4 1/2 sacks and 21 tackles so far this season.

Grab and go set for Nov. 28

ELKTON — A deer gun season ‘grab and go’ will be held from 5 to 7 a.m. on Nov. 28 under the pavilion in downtown Elkton. Free coffee, donuts and hot chocolate will be available.

Motocross on Sunday

Potter Prime Time on Nov. 17

EAST LIVERPOOL– The East Liverpool boys basketball Prime Time will be held at 6 p.m. Nov. 17 at Potter Fieldhouse. Doors will open at 5 p.m.
