Beavers take fifth
PARIS–The Beaver Local girls golf team finished fifth out of 16 teams in the Tri-County Tournament at Pleasant View Golf Club Tuesday.
The Beavers shot an 18-hole total of 375, led Hayley Phillips and McKenna Kyler with 87s.

COLUMBIANA — Leetonia, playing its first golf match in three years, scored a 215-217 win over Southern Local at Valley Golf Club in Tuesday’s season opener.
Leaders for the Bears were Brandon Cantwell 46, Patrick Hull 52, Jayden HerHold 53 and Katie Soupal 64.
