Potters claim NET

SALEM — East Liverpool clinched its fifth North East Tennis League title in six years with a 3-2 win over West Branch on Monday at the Salem Racquet Club.

East Liverpool is 14-0 and 9-0 in the league. The Potters have a scheduled match today at Lordstown, weather depending. On Saturday, the Potter doubles team of Chris Montgomery and Alex Tambellini will be in action at the Div. II district tournament at Ohio University.

West Branch falls to 8-9 and 8-2 in the NET. West Branch will host Canton South on Thursday.
