HANOVERTON–Lisbon girls basketball team beat United 48-34 on Monday night at United High School.

Lisbon was led by Maddie Liberati who had 18 points and seven rebounds.

Hailee Carpenter had 11 points and Izzy Perez had nine points for the Blue Devils.

United was led by Celeste Hofmeister with 12 points while Cameron Pierson and Molly Briceland both had six points.

Lisbon is now 2-1 overall and will host East Palestine on Thursday.

United will travel to Toronto on Thursday.

In jayvee action United won 36-18.

For Lisbon, Corinne Freeman had eight points.

For United, Celeste Powers had 14 points.

EAST PALESTINE — Kayla Muslovski had 22 points and eight steals as Columbiana topped East Palestine 67-24 on Monday in Eastern Ohio Athletic Conference play.

Alexis Cross added 14 points and five rebounds along with seven steals.

Kennedy Fullum had 12 points and three steals.

East Palestine got seven points from Brysten Trosky.

East Palestine won the jayvee game, 38-20. Juli Jones had 10 points for the winners.

WELLSVILLE — Toronto scored a 55-44 win over Wellsville in an Eastern Ohio Athletic Conference game on Monday.

Wellsville falls to 1-3, 0-1.

Menina Jackson had 21 points and 14 rebounds for the Tigers. Hunter Weekley added 11 rebounds and six assists. Camryn Jackson had four assists.

Toronto is 1-1, 1-0.

Toronto won the jayvee portion, 30-28. Leah Vinton had 11 points for the Tigers.

Wellsville hosts United on Thursday.

SALINEVILLE–The Southern girls basketball team beat Leetonia 51-25 in an Eastern Ohio Athletic Conference game on Monday.

Southern improves to 3-0 on the season.

For Southern, Anna Sevek had 25 points and seven steals for the Indians while Hayleigh Allen finished with 14 points and 14 rebounds.

For Leetonia, Ari Russell had 10 points.

Southern will travel to Columbiana on Thursday while Leetonia hosts Wellsvile on Thursday.

Leetonia won the jayvee game 41-18. Delainey Mellott had eight points for the Indians.

For the Bears, Hayleigh Brock had eight points. Chloe Dak and Delaney Roller had seven points.
