Prince makes final cut

SPRINGFIELD — East Liverpool High School graduate Blake Prince has made it to the final round of the Ohio Amateur.
Prince, who will be a senior on the Cleveland State University golf team in the fall, is tied for 37th after a round of 74 on Thursday at the Springfield Country Club.
He is 11-over-par with a 221 stroke total. The field was cut from 60 to 40 on Thursday.
He tees off in the final round at 7:40 a.m. today.
Centerville High School and Wright State University Austin Sipe is running away with the tournament with the lead at 8-under-par. Springfield High School junior Austin Wells is a surprising second at 3-under-par.
Both have extensive experience playing on the course.
Prince finished 16th in last year’s Ohio Amateur.
