Potters can’t keep pace with Falcons
EAST LIVERPOOL — Austintown Fitch pounded out 17 hits in a 13-9 win over East Liverpool on Wednesday during senior night action at Thompson Park.
The Potters fall to 3-14. Logan Dawson had two singles and three RBIs for East Liverpool, while Evan Dieringer supplied a pair of doubles and Josh Recktenwald had a single, double and two RBIs.
Nick Bianco and Malik Cage had three hits each for the Falcons. Cage had three RBIs. Joe Chepke had the win on the mound.
East Liverpool hosts Weir in a doubleheader today.

LISBON — Beaver Local garnered only two hits in its 5-0 loss to Weir High on Wednesday.
Adam Cowden had three hits including a double for the winners.

Blue Devils drop two
LISBON–It didn’t take long for Columbiana to wrap up a share of the Inter-Tri County League White Division title Wednesday.
The Clippers secured one out in the bottom of the eighth inning to finish off an 11-7 victory in the completion of a suspended game.
The Clippers wrap up their conference schedule at 7-1, while Lisbon drops to 5-1 in the conference and has to win both of its games against Wellsville next week to join Columbiana as co-champs. The game was originally suspended last week due to weather with Columbiana leading 11-6 with two on and two out in the eighth. Tim Davin finished the game with a homer and four RBIs for the Clippers, while Cam Summers had four hits and four RBIs for Lisbon.
After the first game was wrapped up, the Clippers and Blue Devils played a non-league game with Columbiana winning 6-2 behind a complete game from Chase Franken.
Jake Clark singled three times and drove in a pair of runs for Columbiana. Zach Fahs added two RBIs and a single. Bailey McCullough and Noah Barnes each had RBIs for Lisbon.
Columbiana is now 17-2 overall, while Lisbon drops to 12-5.
