Oak Glen plays regional game today

RAVENSWOOD, W.Va. – Oak Glen’s regional baseball game will be held at 5 p.m. today at Ravenswood High School.

Oak Glen is 14-12 on the season after beating Weir the last two games in a best-of-3 series.

Ravenwood enters the game at 25-8 after tournaments wins over Roane County, 12-2, and Ritchie County, 9-1 and 19-4.

The winner will play Wednesday at the winner of the Fairmont Sr.-Braxton County game.

Here are directions to Ravenswood according to the Oak Glen athletic department: Take I77 South to Exit 25 Ravenswood/Silverton exit approximately 25 miles south of Parkersburg; At bottom of exit ramp make a right onto four-lane highway; Continue on four-lane for approximately 3 miles to second stop light; At second stop light make a right onto Route 2 North; Continue on Route 2 North (you will pass under Ohio River Bridge) until you pass riverfront park on your left; Once you pass a Speedway gas station on your left proceed to the second street (beyond Speedway) and make a right; That street is between Wesbanco and Wendy’s; Proceed to stop sign and field is directly ahead of you between Ravenswood High School and police/fire Station. Approximate driving time is 3 hours.
